Emma & Nugget March 27th, 2023

Emma's first bundles, she was paired with Nugget from another local breeder. His lineage is from out of state and boy is he a handsome guy. Not to mention he has a wonderful personality and good genes to boot. Now having completed some training titles as well, he is a super smart guy.

Emma's ten fairy tails were brought into the world through a little bit extra will power. These pups definitely got some good nutrients from momma each weighing in at or just over a pound at birth. Those are some big babies considering Emma is only about 53# herself. She was caring around that extra 11# like a champ. She did end up having a total litter of 11, unfortunately the last pup was again very large and just entered the birth canal at an angle that made it impossible for Emma to give birth on her own. We tried as much as we could here before we reached our Vets office for further assistance. They were able to manipulate the pup just enough, thus keeping Emma from needing a surgery. We are some grateful for the healthy puppies and Emma being able to go right back to caring for her pup instead of a needing a procedure. We have decided this bunch shall be named after the Jungle Book characters.

We have Baloo, Bagherra, Col. Hathi, Akela, Raksha(now Obi), Shere Khan, Rama, Kaa(now Zeke), Louie and Mowgli(now Newman). 

This litter was a little uneven on genders, three beautiful girls and seven handsome boys. Can't wait to see how fluff they get to be, several will have longer coats like Goldens.
